It was only a short time after graduating from college that Jim Lewis was ready to start his own agency. From 1981 to 1993, Jim was the owner and president of one of the area's biggest producers of television commercials, Associated Video Producers, Inc. (AVP).
While at AVP, Jim developed numerous successful and award-winning television campaigns. In addition to his commercial work, Jim directed longer segments, including a nationally-syndicated educational television program for children called "Young America, Outdoors".
Through these experiences, Jim was able to hone his skill as a storyteller and craftsman, making full use of the medium. His innate sense of fun, his eye for theatre and his insider knowledge of the television industry make him a valuable member of this alliance.
